As the unexpected snowy weather hit Portland at the end of February this year, we thought about some of our favorite bedroom vignettes that we would love to curl up in to watch the snow fall. See below for more details on each of these styles and the pieces we paired with them.
1) First up in our round up of Joinery bedroom vignettes is our Whitman bed frame with Whitman nightstands and a Sebastian bookcase in Western Walnut. This bedroom set is inspired by mid-century modern design. The headboard features metal pins and an angled back (perfect for sitting up and reading in bed). The nightstands and bookcase have rounded legs and allow for ample storage.
2) Our next bedroom set is our newest bed, the Maud, which features beautifully rounded over edges on the legs and top details of the headboard and footboard. The Maud nightstand and Maud desk also feature a wonderful thru tenon joint detail on the tops. This design has quickly made it one of our customer's favorite designs.
3) Our Classic Shaker bedfroom vignette is just that, a Classic Joinery set. Shown here in FSC Certified Cherry, with Shaker nightstands and a Joinery 9-Drawer dresser with Shaker knobs. This design features a classic aesthetic and highlights the beauty of tradition joinery techniques.
4) Last but definitly not least, our Modern Simple bed. This beframe with or without a Live-edge split, has been one of our most popular and versatile bedframes for the last decade. The simple bedframe designs allows it to coordinate in a range of styles and designs and showcase the wood as the main star.
